Changes in Latitude is a serene townhouse that boasts captivating views of the Gulf of Mexico from its deck, located within the Gulf Pointe II Association. Dockage is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and is conveniently situated near the unit. There is also a community pool nearby equipped with a heater/chiller, to keep the water comfortable all year around! The home provides ample space for parking, accommodating either two cars or one car and a boat trailer beneath it. NEWLY ADDED POOL CHILLER WILL MAINTAIN A COMFORTABLE 88 DEGREES DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.

- Expansive L-shaped decks that wrap around the condo, offering stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico.
- A community pool, heated/chilled, and open for swimming from 9 am to dusk.
- A state of the art electric grill on the living level patio.
- Comfortable outdoor patio seating.
- A large community dock, just a one-minute walk from the unit, situated in the Vaca Cut Channel, providing convenient access to both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic.
- Enjoy gorgeous sunset views and bask in the warmth of the Florida Keys sunshine.
- Ample space for parking, accommodating two cars or one car and a boat trailer beneath the home. It's important to note that all vehicles and trailers must fit under the home, and the turn to park under the carport is somewhat tight.
In the vicinity of the home, you'll find two public beaches and one state park. Coco Plum is a mere 6-minute drive away, Sombrero Beach can be reached within 15 minutes, and Curry Hammock State Park is just an 8-minute drive from the home.
Booking Policies:
Minimum Stay: A 7-night minimum stay is required by city regulations, with no exceptions. The city determines the maximum occupancy, and it cannot be exceeded, covering adults, children, and infants.
Cancellation Policy: We maintain a strict 60-day cancellation policy. If the cancellation is made at least 60 days before the arrival date you can cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, excluding processing and admin fees. If you cancel within 60 days of the arrival date and we are able to secure another booking for the same time by opening the calendar, you will receive a full refund, minus processing and admin fees. If we are unable to secure another rental for the specified time, the deposit will be the only amount refunded.
Contract: Upon confirmation of your booking by our office, you will receive an Adobe E-Sign contract for signing. Once signed, the contract will be automatically returned to us.

This is the 3rd year we have spent time at Changes in Latitude, and it is even more wonderful each year! Riley and Mallory at Keys Ocean Realty are most helpful and accommodating. The kitchen is very well appointed, and the other rooms are comfortable. We love to sit on the porch and look at the boats and planes go by. We have not kept a boat at the docks but have fished some. The location couldn’t be better. We are close to main road, but it is very quiet at the condo. I would absolutely recommend this condo to rent.

Just returned from one of the best vacations ever…Changes in Latitude is an experience! We have traveled far and wide and have rarely been this impressed. Great floor plan with incredible views and most comfortable furnishings. The photos really do not do it justice. The primary bedroom is a dream (admittedly I’m somewhat of a bed/linen snob) and I’ve never slept better. Waking up in luxury linens on a quality, comfy bed with a beautiful view each morning was an unforgettable treat. The kitchen is equally amazing. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need including high-end cookware, dishes and appliances. The Owners have thought of so many details to make your stay comfortable and feel like you’re in your own home. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming; the pool and dock are steps away and the porches always have a breeze. The location is ideal by land or sea. Both the Gulf and Atlantic are literally minutes by boat and there are several great restaurants you can access by boat as well. Additionally, there is a wonderful reef at Sombrero Lighthouse (access by boat or boat tour) that has unbelievably good snorkeling and well worth the trip. Marathon is a fun, friendly town with convenient shopping and lots of great restaurants. We have already begun planning our next trip and will most definitely book Changes in Latitude again!

We had a great stay! I had no idea this community was here but it's really great: tucked quietly away from the rows of packed-in homes typical on the keys—and has a great 8-slip dock right out to the gulf and close to the atlantic. The unit was GREAT—comfortably finished with tasteful decorating, very comfortable beds, and all the cookware we needed for our whole stay. We had a great time tooling around the water snorkeling and fishing, checking out all the local bars/restaurants, swimming in the (nice and quiet!) community pool, and just chilling on the two big porches watching the sunset. As crowded as some areas as the keys can feel this place was really private with great views—it was the R&R we needed. Thanks so much—we will be back again soon!

Fully stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. Friendly next door neighbor who lives there full time. The location- AMAZING. Gulfpointe II was beautiful- the proximity to the ocean, breathtaking views, the docks (just steps from the condo) were amazing to sit on and fish or just look at all the fish swimming by, and to watch the gorgeous sunsets. We were happy just hanging out on the docks- we saw nurse sharks, a manatee, lobsters, crabs, the most beautiful octopus, stonefish, sting rays, barracudas, parrot fish and so much more! And the fish were biting like crazy if fishing is your thing! It was the absolute best vacation ever for our family who just loves taking in nature like that! This was our 4th trip to the keys- first in Marathon, and now we'd never stay anywhere else. The proximity to everything else in the keys was awesome too. Amazing vacation. I give it 10 out of 5 stars. We will be back!

We loved our time here. Did not want to go home. The wind didn't cooperate for launching kayaks, but that is on mother nature and no one else's fault.
The view was wonderful. Access to the water within steps of your room. Fishing and lobstering right at the unit. Fishing was great off the dock. We saw sharks, manatee, sea turtles, octopus, lobster, and more. We caught many different species of fish from the dock and saw even more.
The neighbors were all extremely friendly and so helpful. Everything needed for a home away from home was right there. The parking was spacious enough for 2 cars and a kayak trailer. There is a freezer under the unit for storing bait. The location is very convenient to explore the Keys in either direction. The pool was clean and very relaxing. There was plenty of room for out family of 5.

Just stayed a week at Changes in Latitude and enjoyed every minute of it! The owners have updated everything with all new furniture and the MOST comfortable beds! A new huge TV if you finds yourself inside but so much to do there it is a perfect spot for boating, fishing, watching the sunset or soaking in the pool. There is an 8 slip dock that is steps away from the condo. The slip is near the Vaca Cut so easy access to the Atlantic and Gulf! Will definitely return because the stay was perfect!!

The condo was beautiful, it had everything we needed down to 6 sand chairs for the beach. The sunsets were an everyday experience.We visited some really great restaurants and enjoyed fishing off the dock. We will be back ! We were told that everything was new, furniture , mattresses and appliances, One of our best vacations. It was centrally located an hour from Key West and 30 minutes from Islamorada, some great shopping.

We spent a great week at this condo for summer break with our teenage daughter and her friend. It was a great size unit with a large suite for the adults and guest room for the girls with their own bathroom, plus a half bath on the living level. The kitchen has really nice appliances and everything we needed to cook meals right there. We did have a couple of rainy afternoons, so the large living room (really nice) was used quite a bit for some movie marathons and relaxation. We also were able to get out and explore the area, really enjoyed the aquarium in town, wake board park up on Grassy Key, a day in Key West with sunset at Mallory Square. This was a great place to stay and comfortable for our group for the week. We didn't bring our boat this trip, but will bring it next time! Highly recommend and we hope to return an stay again.

Great place, nice pool. Enjoyed the dock.
Only concern was the neighbor complained about her flowers being shaken by us using the stairs on the day we arrived. It appears that the neighbor is not happy about the place being rented out, but I would definitely still stay there again.

This location was excellent! The unit faces off the gulf, but allows for both Sunrise and Sunset views. The property itself is quiet with mainly older residents who are full timers, but they are pleasant and welcoming to those who are renting. We spent most evenings fishing off the docks and caught many species of fish along with seeing manatees, dolphins and sharks. A great location set in the middle of the keys, allows for most beaches and main key attractions to be within an hour or so of the unit. There are two beaches within 10 minutes of the location. The unit itself is clean and spacious. Plenty of room for our 3 boys in the second bedroom. The pool was warm and clean as well. It is a great place to spend a week in the keys.
